New Chairman.

Howard Arthur, was elected as the new chair of our group, following the decision by Gerry White to step down after eighteen years in the hot seat. A presentation was made by members of the committee at the end of the meeting. President, John Morrissey spoke of Gerry’s years of service and commitment whilst presenting an engraved Chrystal bowl as a small memento to mark his time in office.

New Group Secretary.

Sue Glithero, was elected group secretary following the resignation of Christine Levassuer, after six years in office, thanks were offered as an appreciation for her work whilst in the post.

New Social Secretary.

Lyn Bradley, was confirmed as the new social secretary following a vacancy for this position, she has already been hard at work planning for next year. Lyn says "Check out the new events in the events menu above"!  After all the business was concluded a short fun presentation was given by Jane Harlow, showing pictures from past walks and holidays, asking members to guess the location and date if they could.
