A first for the Amber Valley Group.
On the Erewash and Amber Valley border, a joint boardwalk construction project, took place on a very boggy section of Mapperly FP7. Last Monday, Erewash Ramblers started the laying of a plastic boardwalk, which we finished yesterday. Five members of our team led by Richard from Derbyshire Countryside Service were pleased with their efforts, reporting that it was a very satisfying experience and are pleased that this footpath is now 'open for business' come rain or shine. Well done to all those on both sides of the border who took part.
