DRAFT MAP

Countryside & Rights of Way (CROW) Act

Countryside Agency is mapping all of Britain for moorland, heathland etc to show the areas that will be affected by the Countryside & Rights of Way Act. This process is being carried out in stages and it will take several years to complete. This map is needed to show the exact areas opened up by this "Right to roam" legislation which is now on the statute book.

More information on the CROW act is available from the Derbyshire Area Countryside and Rights of Way officer for the Ramblers' or your normal contact on footpaths matters (usually the group Footpaths Secretary - see your group walks programme for a list of who is on the committee).
